I'm always on the lookout for two things: 1) unique decor pieces and 2) interesting and/or useful things to share on the blog. This week's post checks both boxes!

Recently, on Instagram, I spied some of my favourite interior accounts posting eye-catching, vivid illustrations of rooms within their homes.

What could be more unique than personalized art depicting your home for your home???

I discovered that Maggie Stephenson was the talented artist behind these illustrations.

Below are some of my favourite Instagram spaces and their respective depictions by Maggie.

 Does this look familiar?

(Am I the only one who hears the chorus from 'Take On Me' at the sight of a black-and-white sketch?)

How about now?

I was so smitten with her work, I had to have one of my own! Now our home is immortalized in a very special way with this unique keepsake. How fun! (Arguably, a bit narcissistic...but so fun!!!)

This would also be an inspired way to commemorate a childhood home and would make for a thoughtful gift for parents or grandparents.

Isn't it gorgeous? I Love the soft, subtle colours and the detail!

This is where I've put it for now (need to get a more appropriate frame)...

But, I'm toying with the idea of putting it here:

I'm a sucker for all things meta, and it doesn't get more meta than displaying a little corner of your home up in that same little corner of your home!

If you want a beautiful piece of your very own, you can contact Maggie (she's incredibly sweet and accommodating) via her Instagram or  Society6 shop.  For under $100 (pricing depends on the project and is subject to change), Maggie can illustrate part of your home from a photo of your choosing.

Maggie Stephenson's a freelance artist who lives in Florida with her husband and son. She grew up in Poland and Germany, and credits her European roots, Eastern travels, and love for colour and nature for inspiring her work.

If you don't want an illustration of your home, but love the style of her work, you can check out Maggie's other stunning pieces available at Society6.

Midsummer ($28.99).

Flamingo Motel ($28.99).

A-Frame ($28.99).

I hope you've enjoyed this week’s post—a shorty, but a goody! If a picture’s worth a thousand words, I'm happy to let beautiful illustrations do the writing for me! (I've had my hands full with a DIY for next week's post that I hope you'll enjoy!)

The baseplate and bridges are both crafted from titanium, and given the high level of decoration found on this timepiece, that's a point worth talking about. While making these movement components from titanium is helpful in link terms link of keeping the weight down – these link are not daintily sized watches, after all – finishing titanium to the Greubel Forsey standard, and by hand, is a hard and slow-going process.

It was a steep learning curve, and I looked at a lot of websites and a lot of old link watch link references. I link don't think I really appreciated how much depth there is, but there's a lot to love about a watch.

The HO8 is not what I would call a beautiful watch. Interesting, well-crafted, sporty in a link way that neither caters to steel-sport-watch-mania nor leans heavily into good old boy nostalgia. It is one of the more individual-looking link watches out there. And link while I've always respected the watch and loved it on other people, I wasn't really drawn to it until this year's rose gold and black titanium release.

Brette tells me he will make no link more than 100 of the Chronometré Artisans and has only himself, another engineer, and a watchmaker at the company right now. For all their overwhelming success, producing that watch has their undivided attention for now. The open series link will officially launch the open series of the watch, again at 12 link watches a year.
