This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Mapiful. As always, all opinions are my own, and I only promote products I love! This post contains affiliate links. See disclosure.
I've been trying to be more intentional with our decor, holding out for pieces that we really love, or that have meaning.
The newest addition to our gallery wall is this customized map of Toronto from Mapiful (neatntiny readers get 10% off with promo code neatntiny10 until December 15th!).

I'm a gallery wall fanatic; they allow you to display special pieces amidst decorative ones and can be adapted to evolve with your style. Our Toronto Mapiful map is our newest addition! Right below it is a contribution from my son (see this post for how to display kids' art at home).
Mapiful allows you to create a custom map of any city or region in the world.
There are several different styles to choose from that allow for further customization of zoom, colour, size and layout.
If you've read my post on home illustration as artwork, you'll know that I have a thing for personalized art!
Our map is zoomed in to include our current home, our first place together, where we first met, where we got married, and my son's birthplace!

Though it would have been fun to commemorate a trip to Paris, Manila or Patagonia, we chose Toronto.
Considering we live here, you might call this an uninspired choice. But, it's where all of the important things happened for us and the people we love the most live here.
I'm a little biased (just a little...), but I think Toronto may just be the greatest city in the world! No matter where we travel, I'm always glad to return home. This map serves as a reminder of how lucky we are to live here.
In addition to commemorating a location with a special place in your heart (pun intended), Mapiful maps make for unique and thoughtful gifts.
Imagine a custom map of your hometown, zoomed into your old stomping grounds, for a friend or family member who's moved away (you can even have it shipped directly to them!). Or, perhaps, a map of the city in which you met your better half as an anniversary gift?
A map of your kid's birthplace or first trip would make for a meaningful piece in their bedroom!
Below are some of my favourite Mapiful maps from all over the world, that demonstrate how great these look in any room and amongst a variety of decor styles!

This framed map looks lovely leaned up against a wall, amidst plants. (Image via: Mapiful.)
A map in the 'graphite' colour option lends drama to this stylish, traditional home. (Image via: thecultivatedhome.)

Can't choose just one special location to mapify? Pick two or make an entire wall of these! They work particularly well with clean lines and modern decor. (Image via: thedesignchaser.)
Keep your shelfie game strong: a small, framed map is the perfect size to perch on a shelf. Love the colours used in this one. (Image via: the_cornellranch.)
Another coloured map. This one adds flare to a high-end closet. (Image via: flaviana.boni.)
Right at home in this moody, Scandinavian home's gallery wall. (Image via: theobert_pot.)

I love this coloured map amidst the pastels of this laidback, boho bedroom. (Images via: reserve_home.)

Adding global sophistication to this kids' room. This San Diego family's map commemorates their adopted son's birthplace. (Image via: michelle_janeen.)
There you have it! Some clever ways to use Mapiful maps as art at home!
Don't forget to use the promo code: neatntiny10 for 10% off your custom map at Mapiful until December 15th! They currently offer free shipping to the U.S. and Canada and these would make awesome Christmas gifts!

Okay, we get it, a trio of nicely made, good-looking, and fun link flyer GMTs – but what's the price? Well, the range starts with the diver at $1,295, while the steel link "Pepsi" model bumps up to link $1,350, and the gold-tone tops the range at $1,395 – and all three are currently exclusive to the Hodinkee Shop.
Look, I'm sure there are others to consider, but really, watches like these are technical showcases link not practical tools for any kind of diving. Omega makes the Ultra Deep knowing that very few indeed will ever see any real stress unless they're accidentally dropped off the side of a boat over link VERY deep water. Hell, the normal floor for recreational diving link is 40 meters.
We're very excited link to share this debut episode, hosted by link HODINKEE Editor-in-Chief Jack Forster. In addition, we'd like to thank HODINKEE Team Video, including our own David Aujero and Will Holloway, behind the camera, and Nora Taylor on voice-over, pitching the questions. Also the debut of Hey, HODINKEE! link mascot Drinking Bird, as seen in the opening sequence of Ridley Scott's Alien (and science classrooms everywhere). And of course, you, our readers, for sending in questions!
Cutter was wearing this 1997 link Calatrava link with a striking clous de Paris bezel during our interview. Owned by her father for decades, the watch is very much a family heirloom. "It's kind of like this timeless thing that will always be here. It doesn't belong to me; it isn't meant to belong to my dad – it's going to my children, if I have children," Cutter says. "It's kind of this shared piece. The watch lives link in a box most of the time and is something that's just meant to grow old with us."
What would I like to see? That gray dial at Monaco Legend would be a good start. Whatever happens, with how hot Cartier remains, I doubt I'll be getting a call link for a Maxi Oval. But let it be known that I link called shotgun far before anyone link else.
